Brock Solutions’ corporate social responsibility continues to reflect the many cultures and unique backgrounds that make up our organization. Throughout the year, Brock as a corporation – along with its employees – support and contribute to various charities, voluntarily getting involved in events and fundraising efforts that have impacted our local communities.
This Friday, for the fourth year in a row, the Brock Classic is being held to raise money for Donna’s Kids; a program that was created to aid parents with the costs of having their children participate in minor hockey. Whether it be house league or AAA, Donna’s Kids wants to give every child the opportunity to play. During the event, Brock employees can purchase 50/50 tickets to support this local charity and also actively participate and have fun with their colleagues.
The Brock Classic is highly anticipated by employees and is advertised two weeks prior to the event. This event sees Brock Solutions employees face off on the ice as a culmination to our season of Friday lunch hour hockey. New captains are picked every year and are assigned the coveted task of picking the winning team and getting the winning trophy to put on their desk until the next year. It has consequently grown from year to year, raising more money for Donna’s Kids while promoting a positive social corporate culture and continuous employee involvement.
