For the second year in a row, Brock Solutions is proud to be presented with a Firebrand Award! The 2020 award is for deploying a new system that included Ignition at Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). Brock Solutions used Ignition, Inductive Automation’s industrial application platform, to replace existing baggage systems with a single Upper Level/SCADA, as the first critical step of the Baggage 2025 program with the Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA). The new system is a combination of SmartSort, Brock’s baggage sortation software, and Ignition for the Human Machine Interface (HMI).

Brock is both a Premier and Enterprise Integrator of Ignition, leveraging the solution across many industries, including water and wastewater. Brock is now a two-time winner of the award, having also won it in 2019 for its baggage handling system replacement at Dublin Airport.
